Located between the mountainside and river, just minutes away from the village of Franschhoek, it is the ideal setting for an elegant and sophisticated private hideaway, offering superb comfort, fine dining and platinum service. At the centre of this working wine farm is the meticulously refurbished 19th-century Manor House with its six rooms and suites. There are two rooms adjacent to The Manor House, and the remaining rooms and suites are located in spacious cottages among the gardens, oak trees and vineyards. Leeu House: Leeu House is an exclusive and private 12-room five-star destination, in the scenic Franschhoek valley. An oasis of comfort and luxury, Leeu House’s appeal is its country guesthouse feel on the main street of vibrant Franschhoek village, within easy strolling distance of award-winning restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and many other attractions.

Marigold Indian Cuisine Restaurant:

Complementing the Leeu Collection, Heritage Square, an exciting culinary hub across the road from Leeu House, is home to Marigold, Franschhoek’s first classic Indian cuisine restaurant. Marigold can seat 60 guests inside and 20 outside. The restaurant interior, with its exposed brickwork, original timber ceiling, subtle geometric wallpaper and riempie screen divider above the fireplace, perfectly complements the  mid-century design of the banquette seating  and dining chairs in yellow and orange leather.

Marigold evokes the exotic with a menu inspired by aromatic and spicy North Indian cuisine, from fragrant curries and flavourful biryanis to succulent meat cooked in the charcoal tandoor.

The restaurant is open from Thursday to Monday (closed on Tuesday and Wednesday) for lunch from 12h00 to 14h30 and dinner from 18h00 to 21h00 from May to October; and for lunch from 12h00 to 14h30 and dinner from 18h00 to 22h00 from November to April. Marigold also offers takeaway meals.

Tuk Tuk Micro Brewery

Leeu Collection embarked on an exciting journey with the Cape Brewing Company (CBC) to bring you Tuk Tuk Microbrewery in the village of Franschhoek. We are eager to welcome you to our little gem of a brewery and invite you to be part of a truly immersive experience.

The interior design for Tuk Tuk exudes an industrial feel with its vaulted ceiling, exposed brick and sandblasted walls, and copper and stainless steel service pipes running overhead. Patrons can be seated indoors around the microbrewery and watch fine craft beer being expertly brewed or outdoors on the bustling main street of the village.

On the hop? Try our tasting menu of four Tuk Tuk or three CBC brews. Or linger longer over a tasting of all eight. These two tasting options allow you to sample the tantalising range of aromas and flavours in our craft beers. Want to spice things up? Try a T&T (tequila and a spicy tomatino shot) followed by a cooling half-pint of lager – an experience so authentic you’ll be doing the Mexican wave in no time! Need to ‘Tu(c)k in’ to something more substantial? The Tuk Tuk ‘Taqueria’ serves Mexican-inspired nachos, quesadillas and tacos, delicious matches for our craft brews.
